God is our HEALER!!

Hey all! I wanna share of God's healing power! Those who went for service yesterday would know that Pastor Kong prayed for healing yesterday. I raised my hand and wanted people to pray for me but the bro and sis next to me have no faith to pray for me... after some time then my ex dialect church leader came to pull me to her side to pray for me. In case u don't know, I've been sick for a few days.. flu, headache and feel slightly feverish. When she prayed for me, I could sense the move of God within me.. after a while my headache and flu was gone!!! Praise the Lord!! I really feel so much better. God is great!! Thank God for His healing!

By the way, I was thinking a lot about what has been lacking in me and the CG that friends come but yet do not stay with us. Asked a few of the CG members yesterday and Ying said we, as a CG, seldom engage God in our own fellowship. Well, I do agree with her. Maybe we are not spiritual enough.. I read Deb's letter last night and it gave me an idea of where the problem lies. We all stayed in church and in the CG because God has touched our lives in a special way.. We had experienced God for ourselves so we knew He is real and He is worthy for us to continue our walk with Him. Our friends came but they did not experience God for themselves so they did not stay.. what have we done to help them experience God? Perhaps nothing, and they see no point in coming. The next answer I'm searching for is, how do we help our friends to experience God?

Someone whom I had known in Israel trip called me just now to arrange a meeting. He shared of how he ministered in Bible School.. how Pastor Mike taught them to be sensitive to the Spirit. We got to build up our own Spiritman by praying in tongues everyday. Just a walk past a person, they will be able to feel the presence of God. Just by holding the hand, we'll be able to know what the person had gone through. Yeah! We saw Pastor Mike doing all these in the services, moving in the strong power of God. Perhaps while you are reading this, you are thinking, "He is Pastor Mike, of course he is anointed to have the Word of Wisdom and knowledge and the power of deliverance." However, God has called all of us to do signs and wonders. We all have the power of God within us! God has placed in us the potential that is waiting to be released. All we need is to have faith in God and in ourselves to take a step of boldness. My friend asked me, "Did you pray for your CG members? Why not?" I know there's a sense of inadequecy in me. I don't think I can do it. I don't know how to and what to pray for them. Perhaps you are feeling the same way as me? Fear has crippled me. I've no confidence in myself. Sometimes we just need to discard all our fears and trust in faith. As long as I keep on doubtingthe God given abilities, I will not be able to minister to people effectively and I'll not be able to be an effective witness for God.

These 2 weeks that Huiling is not around, I'm kind of lost in the beginning. I begin to realise that I depended too much on her in the past. So, there's a lot of things which I do not know and I did not ask her in the past. Bro Gaoyuan told me to be hungry for my calling and to keep asking Huiling for the things which I do not know. When Huiling was away, I feel that I was thrown into the ocean with very strong currents. I got to keep on swimming against the current and my only strength comes from God. I guessed most of the time, it is only when we are put in a fix then we'll learn to trust God. I've learnt that when fear arise, all the more I got to fight AGAINST that fear. I don't run away from that fear because that will never solve the root problem. We are all overcomers in Christ Jesus!! No weapon form against us shall prosper! I don't have to give in to the devil's ploy in getting me fearful. I have already gain the victory with Jesus!!! This is God's Word. We all know His word. But do we believe and trust His Word in our own life? Are we convicted in our hearts?

Jesus said in John 14:1
"Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me."

He continued in John 14:12-14
"Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it."

Like what Ying and Pastor Kong always say, it is not good enough to just know God and His Word. What is important is really believing in Him and applying His Word in our lives.
